Effective September 2, 2026. These rules govern all titles in CROWNS (the "Game"), operated by DigitalTreehouse, LLC ("CROWNS").
No purchase is necessary to earn any title, and no purchase improves anyone's chances. No random element decides any title. Titles are decided solely by crowns given by other eligible players.
Players must be 18 or older, verified through the Coronation Portrait, and physically checked in at the venue. Employees of CROWNS and their household members may play but are not eligible for venue perks.
Each eligible player may give up to 5 crowns per venue per night (7 at a venue where the player is the Regular). Crowns are free, cannot be bought, sold, transferred, or earned by invitations, and may be withdrawn the same night. Gifts do not add crowns.
The King, Queen, or Sovereign of a venue is the eligible player with the highest crown score at that venue over a rolling 30 days. Each crown counts 1.0 for 14 days, then declines evenly to 0 at day 30. A minimum score of 3 is required. Ties go to the most recent crown. When the leader changes, the previous holder's reign ends.
At a venue's closing time, the three players with the most crowns received that night are recorded as the Court of the Night. The Regular is the player with the most verified check-in nights at a venue in 90 days (minimum 4). The Founder is the first verified player to check in at a venue.
Location spoofing, multiple accounts, coordinated crowning among accounts controlled by one person, or violation of the Community Guidelines forfeits titles and may result in suspension. CROWNS's determination is final.
Titles are honors within the Game. They have no cash value, confer no rights, and may be changed or removed by CROWNS at any time, including if rules change. Any venue perk is provided and funded by the venue, is equal for every title-holder regardless of gender, is non-alcoholic or a fixed tab credit, and is subject to local law.
CROWNS may update these rules; changes are posted here with a new effective date.
